Empty Skies

“What even is the sky?”

“It’s like the ceiling of the Earth.”

“Then why is it blue?”

“Well who’s to say the sky even has a color.”

“Uh?”

“When you see the sunset what color does the sky get?”

“Like orange-red.”

“The sky changes color because it has no real color. Blue is basically just the default color but in all reality the sky could be any color.”

“That’s doesn’t make any sense?”

“Ok, when light enters our sky and then mixes with air, the light appears blue to our eyes.”

“Hmmmmmm okay yeah I think I get it now. So the sky is basically empty.”

“Yeah, empty skies.”

“Then why isn’t the sky purple?”

“Sigh.”
