I had a friend named Joey, he was going through a lot at the time so we didn’t talk much. One day he asked me if I wanted to hangout with him. I said yes and we went to the fields by his house. That’s when he asked the most influential question in my life.
Do you want to smoke BUD?
Not being one to think about consequences I didn’t hesitate to say yes. We smoked like chimneys for the next month. It was an incredible trip to world of hot pockets and frozen burritos. From hotboxes to tree houses, the cloud never stopped for a second until it rained so we couldn’t smoke that day.
On the final day, I didn’t want to smoke but he insisted since it was the last day till who knows. The session was nothing to grand however I still remember the conversation we had was much more personal than usual. I couldn’t help but feel the need to hug Joey like a Kangaroo does with his joey. But personal affection was never my thing neither his. He passed the apple and said it was out. That’s the last time we smoked. Only till now have I, myself is finally over with it but who knows for little Joey.
